Fuelled by their love of the sea, and a desire to share water and nature experiences with other women, Jane & Nicole founded the Seasterhood in 2022.
Based in Williamstown, Melbourne, Jane and Nicole get their daily kicks from swimming in the sea - in the invitingly warm waters during summer and fearlessly plunging into the exhilarating cold waters during winter.
Join us for a unique and memorable experience where you'll find solace and rejuvenation in the awe-inspiring beauty of the our natural waterways.
We curate experiences that allow you to bask in the healing energy of nature's magnificent aquatic playground.
The Seasterhood is a vibrant community of like-minded women, each on her unique journey of self-discovery.
Through our carefully curated experiences, you'll have the opportunity to connect with extraordinary women who share your passion for water and adventure.
Build deep and lasting friendships, support one another's growth, and celebrate the power of sisterhood in all its forms.
Jane has been waterlogged most of her life. A keen swimmer and lifesaver as a kid, an outdoor ed student then teacher as a young adult and a committed long term backpacking wanderer all through her 20s and into her 30s she usually gravitated to, and ended up in, water.
She's swum in many of the worlds seas, including the Dead, the Red and the Med, has frolicked with the Ganges dolphins in the Ganges River and loves the wonderful Marine life surprises that swimming in the bay delivers every day.
Jane has worked as a tour leader in India and the Middle East, has travelled to the 7 Wonders of the World and has over the past few years embraced the reintroduction of regular open water swimming into her day. The benefits that she has experienced from her mid-century Wild/Cold Water swimming have been vast, varied and sometimes surprising. From an enhanced ability to regulate her body temperature, the wonderful rush of endorphins a cold swim inevitably delivers to the beautiful, supportive relationships with her fellow swimmers.
It’s all just too good not to share!

Nicole grew up in Switzerland - surrounded by lakes, rivers and mountains. From a young age, she developed a deep connection with nature, finding solace and inspiration in its vastness. Her love for adventure blossomed as she embarked on countless nature and aquatic expeditions; from diving into the mesmerising depths of coral reefs to hiking through postcard-perfect landscapes, from skiing down powdery snowy peaks to sailing across pristine waters, and from wandering through spectacular gorges and emerald green valleys to plunging into alpine lakes and wild rivers.
It was during these immersive experiences that she realised the profound impact nature and water had on her wellbeing. In her work as a Leadership Coach, Trainer and Therapist, Nicole is witnessing on a daily basis how her guidance and experience inspires people to break free from their comfort zones so they can enjoy more joy, freedom and fulfilment, as well as better wellbeing and performance.
Being able to combine her passion for empowering people to grow and transform with the essence of the Seasterhood is something she’s very excited about.
